It's a privately-owned company with over 12 years of experience in real estatedevelopment and management in China.

The holistic resort in Shanghai is a latestproject in hospitality and medical tourism. The facility is fully-built and is one of the fewaccredited medical resorts in China.

Covering 120,000 square meters of land, the resortfeatures top-end amenities including Medical Centre, Wellness Centre, Spa Centre, andHotel. All produce at the resort is fresh and responsibly grown on-site, and also have ourown free-range livestock raised on the property.

- Work in conjunction with the General Manager to actively manage key propertyissues (including capital projects; customer service; refurbishment)

- Assist the development of meaningful, achievable hotel budgets and other shortand long term hotel strategic goals

- Provide effective leadership to the hotel management team and staff members toensure targets are met and exceeded

- Arrange, monitor and respond to audits and other quality control measures toensure continual improvement is achieved

- Plan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all hotel operationaldepartments, excluding Wellness departments, in order to meet and exceed guestexpectations

Work closely with Wellness Director to ensure the seamless integration of Wellnessservices with hotel operations

- Ensure that all operational departments have Standard Operating Policies andProcedures, including Service Standards, that are documented, effective andefficient in delivering the desired service quality and guest experience. Ensurethat all departments comply with and ideally exceed the Service Standards at alltimes

- Ensure that costs are controlled throughout the operational departments andresults are analysed regularly to highlight problem areas and take appropriateaction

- Manage and develop the Heads of Department to ensure career progression andeffective succession planning within the hotel

- Ensure that all hotel staff have the appropriate career development and that theirwelfare needs are taken care of in line with Company standards and philosophy

- Seek and respond to Guest feedback in order to achieve positive outcomes andhigh levels of customer satisfaction

- Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team

- Degree or diploma in Hotel or resort Management or equivalent

- Strong commercial acumen, preferably with experience in Food & Beverage orRooms Management

- At least five years’ management experience in a hospitality setting

- Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results

- In-depth knowledge of the hotel / leisure / service sector

- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achievehigh level of perform and exceed targets

- Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills and computerskills

- Accountable and resilient

- English language skills strongly preferred

- As a Wellness Resort, ideally have a personal interest in andappreciation for health and wellbeing
