This is a new project by one of the top restaurant groups in China with several different concepts.

They are looking for a GROUP EXECUTIVE CHEF to lead their multiple restaurat locations. 

 


A chef who’s passionate about creating and executing new menus, loves mentoring, training and teaching, and is open to new experiences. We prefer a chef who loves cooking rustic cuisine but may come from a fine dining background. They must have an appreciation for plating, fundamental techniques and elevating the standard for a dish. Must have a hands on approach for management, we are looking for a chef that COOKS not a chef that only manages.

 


- Experience as management level and above

- High level knowledge of Western cuisine is required

- Has had moderate amount of experience working in free standing restaurants

- Demonstrated experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment

- Has ability to create new menu items / seasonal menu items

- Has ability to be creative and modernize and update traditional dishes

- Able to adapt to new living and work environment. Preferably having lived abroad before 

- Strong work ethic

- Able to work as a leader and teammate. Lead by example

- Excellent communication, delegation and time management skills

- Strong understanding of HACCP food safety standards

- Understanding of costing, inventory & management level skills

- Able and willing to work shift work, including weekends and public holiday
